After a harrowingly stressful Start to my day in sunny Luzern in Switzerland - a country where every other day when I am just going to work, trains are always on time...a unfortunate soul decided to make an attempt on his/her life and subsequently upset the sbb train schedule to Zurich airport...this generated some amount of panic in my mind...fortunately with a little help from my friends I finally made my way to the airport...proceeding to board at the wrong gate was the next panic moment...of course they couldn't find me on the system of their Swiss flight to NYC...I was flying American Airlines...as boarding at the correct gate closes I realize there is a security screen that I failed to complete...the flight is waiting for me at that point...I smile and hope they will believe me when I say I packed my own bag last night at 01.32am precisely...and that I haven't even had time to even look at a shop or remotely lend any of my belongings to anyone before I boarded...anyhow...flight departs - nobody tells me to belt up or turn off my phone...the AA crew don't seem to give a flying monkey's...next to me is a strange religious freak reading a strange book about God saving the lost people...maybe I was one of them...a few solid hours sleep, a Salad, vegetarian lasagna and heated up Margarita pizza later...mad religious lady proceeds to knock my coffee all over me and my bag...the propect of landing in my favorite city diverts my inner anger turning it to mild irritation...and finally after having all the fingers of both my hands scanned for finger prints I set foot on American soil, buy a metrocard and jump on the subway to the city - I get handed the number of a swiss guy who would like me to go "clubbing" with him and his friend...we shall see about that when I am less tired. The line E takes me to 53rd street and 7th where, as I emerge from the subway, I see a rather good looking tanned man: Christian Slater... A further stroll through the city led me to my humble place of residence in Chelsea where I felt very secure as the local police station with their mini little cars are at the ready just outside my window...
